There are two tasks that we should perform: 08:04:31 1. Write tests in OPNFV environment for Vitrage 08:04:46 2. Support Vitrage installation as part of Apex OPNFV installer. 08:04:57 The second task is currently blocked, as we are waiting for Red Hat to prepare Vitrage packages. I’ll start working on the first task, hopefully in the coming days. 08:05:06 who else wants to update? 08:05:34 I will 08:05:52 I have started to work on the Vitrage-Aodh integration 08:06:04 Hi guys, 08:06:29 we want to add a new type of alarm to Aodh 08:07:14 so our alarms will be raised in Aodh right away without running evaluator on them 08:07:40 alexey_weyl: you mean Aodh evaluator ;-) 08:07:55 and also there is no field in the current alarms where external alarm can preserve theirs information 08:08:23 I am going to add a blueprint to aodh today and also send an email to the community 08:08:35 ifat_afek: of course 08:08:52 thats it for now 08:09:35 alexey_weyl: cool, we were waiting for this change for a long time 08:10:14 Gordon Chung and Julien Danjou were in our design session in Barcelona, and I know they basically approve the chagne. Of course, they need to see the details 08:10:19 thanks! 08:10:32 I will update 08:10:55 I started to work on a collectd datasource 08:11:41 I setup a devstack with collectd that monitors ovs interfaces 08:12:07 and was able to to put down and up an interface and see that there is a notification 08:12:47 the problem is that I dont think collectd supports a pull method to get the current status of the notifications 08:13:26 we might use a hack that saves the state to a file or a database and then read the current status 08:13:31 thats all 08:13:41 eyalb: that’s great 08:14:01 I mean, besides the hack… but sounds like we have no choice 08:14:12 anyone else wants to update? 08:18:14 Ok, one more thing - there are a few tasks that we wanted to do in Vitrage and won’t have time for them in Ocata. I plan to send an email with these tasks, maybe someone will decide to take one of them after all 08:18:28 That’s it, thanks everybody 08:18:43 bye 08:18:47 bye 08:19:02 #endmeeting
