15:03:42 <lennyb> Hello
15:03:51 <mmedvede> o/
15:04:02 <lennyb> hi mmedvede, how are you?
15:04:54 <lennyb> I need some assistance with nodepool
15:04:57 <mmedvede> all good, thanks
15:05:13 <mmedvede> lennyb: you are deploying master version?
15:05:22 <asselin> hi
15:05:28 <lennyb> asselin, hi
15:06:00 <lennyb> mmedvede, yes, master branch, but I also had some problems with the stable version
15:06:27 <lennyb> I have a keystone errors when nodepool builder tries to connect to devstack provider
15:06:44 <asselin> there's some recommended pins for nodepool...master branch is going to be a bit different
15:07:48 <mmedvede> I am using 0.3.1 and it works fine, nodepool builder has no issues with keystone
15:08:05 <lennyb> asselin, ok, but I still had some misconfiguration in nodepool.yaml and after trying to reinstall it I started to fail with http://paste.openstack.org/show/594291/
15:08:20 <asselin> you're using devstack master for the provider?
15:08:31 <lennyb> asselin, yes
15:09:21 <asselin> the pidfile lock issue...can you try running in non-daemon mode?
15:09:26 <asselin> -d maybe?
15:10:01 <lennyb> asselin, no, I will try it. what is a recommended provider configuration?
15:10:22 <asselin> no...-d if for the nodepoold command you just pasted ^^
15:12:48 <lennyb> what providers are you using?
15:13:32 <asselin> I think there are 2 issues, your keystone error and the pidfile.
15:13:45 <asselin> the -d is to look at the pidfile error.
15:14:13 <asselin> There might be a bug with devstack master and existing client libraries causing your keystone issue
15:14:14 <lennyb> asselin, yes, they are not related. I will try using nodepool 0.3.1 as mmedvede suggested.
15:14:32 <lennyb> should I try stable/mitaka?
15:14:51 <asselin> yes
15:15:08 <lennyb> asselin, mmedvede, grreat. thanks.
15:15:12 <asselin> usually best to use the most recent stable branch
15:15:20 <lennyb> anything you would like to discuss today?
15:15:42 <mmedvede> lennyb: I am using that nodepool version with OpenStack Mitaka
15:16:03 <lennyb> mmedvede, thanks, noted.
15:16:56 <lennyb> mmedvede, can you share your nodepool.yaml file?
15:18:16 <mmedvede> lennyb: let me check
15:19:28 <mmedvede> lennyb: I need to sanitize it a bit, would link it here or #openstack-third-party-ci
15:19:54 <lennyb> mmedvede, thanks.
