15:03:43 <carl_baldwin> I’m at the Neutron mid-cycle sprint. So, this meeting should be short.
15:03:52 <carl_baldwin> What agenda items do you have to discuss?
15:04:05 <carl_baldwin> devvesa: yamamoto: hi
15:04:14 <devvesa> about BGP dynamic routing spec
15:04:47 <devvesa> kyle wrote a wiki page with the code reviewers assigned to each Juno-2 bp
15:05:00 <devvesa> #link https://wiki.openstack.org/wiki/NeutronJunoProjectPlan#Juno-2_BP_Assignments
15:05:06 <devvesa> i miss the BGP one
15:05:07 <yamamoto> a short update about ryu bgp: filtering code for ipv4 is in review
15:05:37 <devvesa> great yamamoto
15:06:09 <devvesa> unfortunately, I haven't checked new ryu bgp version neither this week
15:06:59 <devvesa> carl_baldwin: I asked Kyle to add the BGP spec in the wiki, but he hasn't do it yet
15:07:03 <yamamoto> np. if you have a chance to try, i recommend master rather than a release at this point
15:07:16 <devvesa> ok, i jot down it
15:07:50 <carl_baldwin> devvesa: The list isn’t complete. It is only a very short list of the highest priority BPs.
15:08:01 <carl_baldwin> Actually, it is a very small percentage of them.
15:08:09 <devvesa> ok...
15:08:21 <devvesa> i start to worry about it, because there is only a week left
15:10:21 <devvesa> i just wanted to insist about the review a little bit more... to me, nothing else to say
15:10:24 <carl_baldwin> I will bring it up here at the mid-cycle.
15:10:32 <devvesa> carl_baldwin: thanks
15:12:57 <carl_baldwin> devvesa: Thanks.

15:13:38 <seizadi> carl: have you had a chance to review the IPAM BP?
15:14:13 <carl_baldwin> seizadi: Let me look to see where I am with that one.
15:18:20 <viveknarasimhan> hi carl
15:18:59 <carl_baldwin> seizadi: I will review this evening.
15:19:02 <carl_baldwin> viveknarasimhan: hi
15:19:21 <viveknarasimhan> could you please share any update on plans for merge of DVR in the code-a-thon
15:19:42 <carl_baldwin> viveknarasimhan: hi
15:19:58 <carl_baldwin> We’re working to get tempest tests running with DVR enabled in a devstack.
15:20:11 <carl_baldwin> I think if we can make that work then the chances will be good.
15:20:28 <viveknarasimhan> ok
15:20:39 <viveknarasimhan> i see a squash review for DVR opened up today: https://review.openstack.org/#/c/105864/
15:20:57 <carl_baldwin> That is purely for testing. It will not merge that way.
15:21:14 <carl_baldwin> It was just an attempt at getting the gate to run with DVR enabled.
15:21:30 <carl_baldwin> … in kind of a hackish way but it should work nonetheless.
15:21:49 <carl_baldwin> We’re also working on getting a Jenkins server running to test the patches as they progress.
15:22:01 <viveknarasimhan> great..
15:22:30 <viveknarasimhan> thanks for the progress
15:23:27 <viveknarasimhan> please let me know if help is required . i will try to squeeze time to assist you and armax
15:23:41 <armax> hi there
15:23:52 <carl_baldwin> We’ve got a pretty decent devstack integration working now. I’ve been able to use it to create a fresh devstack with dvr enabled.
15:25:08 <viveknarasimhan> that is good to know. so i believe you are patching #105864 to master tip to test out DVR.
15:25:56 <carl_baldwin> viveknarasimhan: Yes, that is basically it.
15:27:24 <viveknarasimhan> from my side
15:27:35 <viveknarasimhan> update is I submitted the modified blueprint as new review
15:27:53 <viveknarasimhan> also i am working on spec text for 2 blueprints
15:28:22 <viveknarasimhan> one on supporting multiple dvrs to have interfaces on same subnet
15:29:04 <viveknarasimhan> which is :https://blueprints.launchpad.net/neutron/+spec/neutron-ovs-dvr-multigateway
15:29:21 <viveknarasimhan> and then filed one more in Horizon for enhancements for DVR
15:29:37 <viveknarasimhan> which is: https://blueprints.launchpad.net/horizon/+spec/enhance-horizon-for-dvr
15:36:33 <yamamoto> viveknarasimhan: thank you for updating l2 doc btw. i haven't had a chance to look at it though.
15:36:58 <viveknarasimhan> no problems. you are welcome yamamoto
15:42:11 <yamamoto> anything else to discuss? nothing from me
15:50:51 <carl_baldwin> Sorry, I’m multitasking.
15:51:00 <carl_baldwin> If there is nothing else, I’ll close the meeting.
15:51:41 <carl_baldwin> One more update. I was able to create a new devstack this morning and run the test_network_basic_ops tempest scenario on it successfully. My confidence is growing.
15:52:19 <carl_baldwin> Thanks for joining. We’ll resume regular meetings next Thursday.
