17:02:47 <felipemonteiro_> Hi learnmore
17:03:12 <learnmore> Hello.
17:03:49 <learnmore> I assume you heard about the proposal to drop the openstack application catalog, yes?
17:04:08 <felipemonteiro_> Yes, I did, despite its popularity.
17:04:26 <felipemonteiro_> #topic Announcements
17:04:44 <felipemonteiro_> Just wanted to mention I'm working on official murano install guide here: #topic Announcements
17:04:52 <felipemonteiro_> #link https://review.openstack.org/#/c/441611/
17:05:07 <learnmore> That is good news.
17:05:22 <learnmore> I'll take a look at it later.
17:05:23 <felipemonteiro_> And zhurong has begun working on murano api docs here: https://review.openstack.org/#/c/441835/
17:05:53 <learnmore> Good to know. Another important document.
17:06:50 <learnmore> What was the application catalog session at the ptg like? Was it well attended?
17:06:50 <felipemonteiro_> #topic Open Discussion
17:07:22 <tovin07> hello
17:07:44 <learnmore> welcome tovin07
17:07:47 <felipemonteiro_> tovin07: Hi :)
17:07:49 <tovin07> recently, I proposed this one https://blueprints.launchpad.net/murano/+spec/osprofiler-support-in-murano
17:08:01 <tovin07> #link https://blueprints.launchpad.net/murano/+spec/osprofiler-support-in-murano
17:08:30 <tovin07> hope that you guys will take a look and approve it :D
17:09:11 <learnmore> tovin0..you should change the approver to Felipe
17:09:39 <felipemonteiro_> tovin07: Let me take a look
17:10:14 <learnmore> felipemonteiro_: any update on my blueprint as far as approval?
17:11:15 <learnmore> This one: https://blueprints.launchpad.net/murano/+spec/devicename-from-volume-attachment
17:11:28 <tovin07> felipemonteiro_: thanks!
17:12:19 <learnmore> felipemonteiro_: I also added you as an approver for this blueprint: https://blueprints.launchpad.net/murano/+spec/app-use-existing-security-group
17:12:51 <felipemonteiro_> tovin07: Thanks for creating this bp, I've gone ahead and approved it.
17:13:22 <tovin07> Thank you!
17:13:58 <tovin07> I will publish patch sets related to this bp soon
17:17:04 <felipemonteiro_> learnmore: Thanks for reminding me, I've also approved it.
17:17:50 <learnmore> felipemonteiro_: Thank you!
17:20:24 <learnmore> felipemonteiro_: When you have a chance, can you take a look at/approve the security group blueprint too? https://blueprints.launchpad.net/murano/+spec/app-use-existing-security-group
17:23:44 <felipemonteiro_> learnmore: Let me check
17:28:03 <felipemonteiro_> learnmore: This would require changes to muranodashboard and murano pl. I see no problem with allowing a current application to specify an already-existing security group for it to join.
17:30:30 <learnmore> felipemonteiro_: so you will approve the blueprint?
17:33:05 <felipemonteiro_> learnmore: Sure. May you also add https://answers.launchpad.net/murano/+question/403890 to the bp somewhere.
17:33:48 <learnmore> felipemonteiro_: Yes, I will.
17:35:30 <learnmore> How was the application catalog session at the ptg? Well attended? What was the discussion/questions like?
17:39:00 <felipemonteiro_> learnmore: Unfortunately I didn't get a chance to go because I was caught up with QA-related meetings.
17:41:42 <felipemonteiro_> By the looks of it though there probably weren't many who attended
17:41:44 <learnmore> That's too bad. On another note, I did exchange e-mail with Stan Lagun last night. The model builder feature is to support the old UI when/if the new UI is implemented. He pointed me to the spec for the new UI.
17:42:16 <learnmore> Sp sto;; dpm
17:42:46 <learnmore> So still don't have a lot of detail on it. But at least I know it is for the existing apps.
17:44:49 <felipemonteiro_> Yeah, the new UI though requires a lot of client-side code, currently no one's supporting it upstream
17:45:47 <learnmore> Agreed...the new UI is a big change.
17:46:19 <learnmore> That's all I have for this meeting. Thanks for approving my blueprints.
17:47:15 <felipemonteiro_> No problem...if no one else has anything else to discuss, we can end a bit early.
17:51:27 <felipemonteiro_> Ok thanks everyone who joined
