04:11:44 <ekcs> oh one update from me is that as I dug into adding more methods for congress-json to authenticate to external APIs, I found that the custom header fields already supported is enough to support bearer token and basic http auth.
04:12:35 <ekcs> so I think that’s not as high priority now. kubernetes service accounts are bearer token so already possible.
04:14:03 <ekcs> Though there is some questions around support for authenticating with SAML sources. If a concrete need arises then i can prioritize that.
04:15:08 <ekcs> so today congress-json can support getting data from APIs authenticating using keystone, basic http auth, and bearer token. some new code would be needed to support OAUTH or SAML.
