fungitkajinam: tonyb might have connections he can ask12:37
tkajinamfungi, it'd be great if he can directly ping the people in the SIG directly12:39
tkajinamI sent an email with the sig chair persons in cc, but I'm not too sure if they can be still reached.12:39
tkajinam(the mail is also sent to our ML.12:40

tkajinama quick question. should we remove this headline from README, right ? https://github.com/openstack/heat/blob/master/README.rst#team-and-repository-tags17:13
tkajinamI see it was removed from a few projects like glance https://github.com/openstack/glance17:13
* tkajinam noticed https://governance.openstack.org/tc/reference/tags/index.html says the tags framework has been removed, when checking all links in README17:14
JayF++17:28
gmanntkajinam: we removed the other tags which got removed with tag frameworks. but the current tags are correct one but there is issue in their link to correct page17:51
gmanntkajinam: this item - https://etherpad.opendev.org/p/tc-2024.1-tracker#L3017:51
tkajinamgmann, checking17:52
gmanntkajinam: I was supposed to work in these tags either fix the link if we can otherwise I agree that we can remove if they are not fixable or complex to fix17:53
tkajinamok17:54
gmannhere are those tag badges per projects https://governance.openstack.org/tc/badges/17:54
gmannthe link there in the above location are all correct but README are not17:54
tkajinamthanks for these inputs. I was not aware of that discussion and was just wondering how I can fix the broken link17:55
tkajinamgmann, I might be confused but are you talking about the link to these .svg file or the link associated with the image file ?17:56
gmanntkajinam: link from the files are correctly linked  for exmaple: https://governance.openstack.org/tc/badges/adjutant-ui.svg17:57
gmanntkajinam: and also good point about PowerVMStacker SIG. this remind me that we should do some checks on all SIG to know who all are active or not active17:58
tkajinamgmann, it'd be helpful if we can get a reference which we can follow. it's not much urgent but some projects already removed these tags so we may need a consistent approach before people start different things17:59
gmanntc-members ^^ we do project checks on their activeness but not for SIGs, we should do the same for SIGs also at some point maybe once in a cycle or two cycle at least17:59
tkajinamgmann, yeah > SIGs. I guess some of these are already in complete status.18:01
tkajinamAPI, Ansible, Automation, Packaging, and probably Multi-Arch ?18:02
gmannyeah but there are many marked active are not so active now a days at least I know we have not had any meeting/discussion/activities in First Contact SIG over years or more https://governance.openstack.org/sigs/18:04
gmanntkajinam: other SIG in 'advisory' are kind of there is no much activities on those needed but there are few people there to advise community anything related to those SIG18:05
gmannbut again we might need to update their chair/co-chair as a few of them might not be active in OpenStack nowadays18:06
tkajinamyeah and I agree with all these points.18:06
gmannfor actual completed SIG, we di have their list at the bottom of this page. and if we find any of the active or advisory SIG are completed we should move them to that list18:07
tkajinam++18:09
fungialso we sort of do it for pop-up teams, but may want to make them part of the same effort18:18
gmannyeah, pop-up team we checks in PTG at least and ask if pop-up team leader want to resume it or not19:02
tonybtkajinam: it's dead, totally dead.  it and any repos owned can be retired.20:34
fungisee, i knew tonyb would have the deets20:39
