gmannone thing about tag 'tc:approved-release' cleanup topic, I am thinking to send this on ML once it is merged, hope it is fine as per this tag scope/definition -  https://review.opendev.org/#/c/749363/15:02

gmannany other tag cleanup/removal will need wider discussion no ML also before we merge15:03
gmannbasically  'tc:approved-release' cleanup does not actually impact anyone just add all projects in list of approved release definition.15:04
knikollaso just to clarify, the tc:approved-release tag signifies that the project is a candidate for the trademark program, rather than documenting which projects are part of the program15:07
knikolla?15:07
gmannyeah possible candidate for trademark program application15:08
smcginnisHorribly named, at any rate.15:10
knikollayeah, the name does imply more than it actually grants.15:11
evrardjpwording can be done in a follow up patch if necessary :)15:13
gmannbylaw only ref to "OpenStack Technical Committee Approved Release" term which i kept it here so that TC still cover this term for board of directors or interop group to refer- https://review.opendev.org/#/c/749363/3/reference/tags/index.rst15:15

fungii'm not a moderator on foundation-board, just foundation16:42
fungiand yeah, the point of the tag originally was that the board gets to decide what's covered by trademark, but the tc is responsible for letting the board which projects they can pick from16:43
fungito ensure that if there was a project the tc didn't want included under the openstack trademark program(s) that couldn't be added by the board against the tc's wishes16:44
fungiso essentially it was supposed to be the intersection of the sets of projects the tc felt were available to include, and projects the board felt were worthwhile to include16:44
