paladoxtimburke_: is it safe to enable the handoffs_first option?19:20
paladoxi'm seeing stuff like:19:24

paladoxhttps://www.irccloud.com/pastebin/YqUl6uzH/19:24
paladox(on the node that is trying to then transfer to the other one)19:24

paladoxbut /6 exists19:27
paladoxok it's now created!19:29
timburke_handoffs_first won't have that much impact; your nodes mostly either have (nearly) all handoffs, or all primaries, so prioritizing one over the other won't help much20:36
timburke_the error is normal, unfortunately. what usually happens is the filling nodes rehash a partition that rsync is trying to fill, deleting some destination directories. if you're worried that it's impacting your rate of progress, you could disable the replicators on the filling nodes for a while, or crank up their interval20:39
timburke_fwiw, when i'm pushing data around in my homelab (3 object nodes, 2 disks each, 3 replicas, ~40% fill), it usually takes two days or so for replication to settle20:42
paladoxit doesn't seem like a lot of data is being removed from the nodes that have their weight at 0.25 (although i do see it syncing data to the other nodes).21:57
paladoxis that expected? does it remove once it's all sync?21:57
