LarsErikPHi guys! I was just wondering if there is any ongoing work on a new ussuri release for swiftclient. I would really love to see this https://review.opendev.org/#/c/724247/ being included in the next release (3.9.1?)09:37

ormandjtimburke: so i implemented retries with exponential backoff for 502s inside s3token13:19
ormandjtesting now but assuming it's ok, how do i get this to you?13:19
ormandjthe code should be re-usable anywhere you want to do this for anything using the 'requests' stuff fwiw, and modular in that you can define attempts/backoff strategy/methods/codes to operate on13:20
ormandji've just slapped it in place where we encountered the need but it'd probably be best to abstract it and turn the stuff into configurables in the conf files13:21
ormandjtimburke: https://github.com/ormandj/swift/commit/d7e5999841222e6e98d21f2d7f14df664bd31534 sorry for ugliness, i'm not a python guy :)14:11

ade_leetimburke, just continuing the conversation on the right channel now ..21:20
ade_leetimburke, if you have no preference, maybe for now, we be consistent with what we did with the paths and mark the log anonymizing as non-security context?21:21
ade_leebut I could really go either way21:22
timburkesure -- has the benefit of only needing a single code path in tests21:22
ade_leetimburke, ok - thanks - I'll update accordingly21:25
