noonedeadpunkelodilles: we haven't included https://opendev.org/openstack/openstack-ansible to merged eol patch just in case08:05
noonedeadpunkso it shouldn't be realled eoled08:05
noonedeadpunkopenstack-ansible is just not mentioned for https://opendev.org/openstack/releases/src/branch/master/deliverables/ocata/openstack-ansible.yaml#L227708:06
noonedeadpunkelodilles: so to properly eol old releases we need to independently EOL roles and openstack-ansible repo. Later on it's easier as roles were moved to independan stanza08:07
*** ysandeep is now known as ysandeep|brb08:12
noonedeadpunkelodilles: I also pushed simmilar patch for Pike https://review.opendev.org/c/openstack/releases/+/821742 and will do another one for Queens during the day08:14
noonedeadpunkansd eventually when https://review.opendev.org/c/openstack/openstack-ansible/+/795690 will be landed, this repo can be also EOLed08:15
noonedeadpunkas we can't merge this patch without roles being eoled so they should be independant from project logic08:15

tkajinamhmmm... we might need to warn people about these pending patches... https://review.opendev.org/q/owner:infra-root%2540openstack.org+status:open09:40
tkajinamsome projects have outdated unit test jobs because of these still open09:40
tkajinam(I might be posting this in a wrong channel09:41
* noonedeadpunk closed 3 pending ones from my side09:45

hberaudtkajinam: I'd suggest to discuss this topic with the TC and why not with the stable team for the patches against stable branches. It could be worth to force them. Also another point to discuss with the TC is should we do with the patches against deliverables that lack of maintainers (e.g: senlin, freezer, etc...) do we want to close them, or do we want to force them?10:06
hberaudthe release team doesn't have the permissions to merge those patches10:06
opendevreviewHervĂ© Beraud proposed openstack/releases master: [yoga] release oslo's deliverables  https://review.opendev.org/c/openstack/releases/+/82181610:23
elodilleswell, there were discussions around these generated patches. as a result I +W'd those where I have +W rights (as stable-maint-core member) and zuul is passing. still there are repositories where stable-maint-core does not have +W rights, for those we can only ping the maintainers (if there are :S)10:24
elodilles(I am talking about the 'create-<branch>' patches)10:26
tkajinamhberaud elodilles, thanks for inputs. I'll send out a mail to initiate discussion to ml10:29
hberaudtkajinam: yw10:30
tkajinamwell, tbh I don't really care about very inactive projects like senlin, freezer and etc but most concerning one is keystone10:30

stephenfinFYI, the releases page is still showing Ussuri as Maintained, but I think it's in EM now? https://releases.openstack.org/ I don't know where the source for that lives16:47
*** amoralej is now known as amoralej|off17:42
hberaudstephenfin: ussuri is not yet fully migrated to EM (https://review.opendev.org/q/topic:%22ussuri-em%22+(status:open%20OR%20status:merged))18:08
hberaudstephenfin: this is where the status of series lives => https://opendev.org/openstack/releases/src/branch/master/data/series_status.yaml18:10
hberaudussuri will be updated when all those patches will be merged18:10
hberauds/ussuri/ussuri's status/18:11
