roman_gHello everyone. We are seeing the following issue with Zuul jobs starting from 19-20th of March: "The field 'environment' has an invalid value, which includes an undefined variable. The error was: 'dict object' has no attribute 'newrev'." We are using 'zuul.newrev' variable during check and other jobs, and since recent time (1-2 days) it has started to pop the error message, which maked gates11:43

clarkbto clarify the correct way to automatically clean up a provider is to set max servers to 0 then the provider diskimages to empty list. If there are unused labels you might need to manually delete a few nodes. Then thereshould be no zk or disk respurces tied to the provider and the provider config can be removed14:46

fungifrickler: what was the deadlock with 644842?14:54
fricklerfungi: it failed due to other unstable neutron jobs. but no fixes for those can get merged since our ansible update14:55
fricklerfailed like 6 times now14:55
frickleror 24h14:55
fungibypassing ci rather than just disabling the unstable jobs is a questionable choice14:56
fricklerfungi: please have a look at the patch, it seems like a very obvious fix only affecting zuul config14:57
fungii get that, just if you can't get that fix merged due to unstable jobs, there were other less drastic options like temporarily removing the unstable jobs or squashing that fix with the fixes for the other jobs14:58
fungiand more to the point, they're solutions available to everyone rather than requiring intervention of a gerrit administrator15:01
